Penny Pants Pattern - Kids Sizing

The Penny Pants are a cool kid barrel leg pant with a relaxed fit and a high rise waist.  
They feature darts that hit just below the knee and back legs, back pockets, comfortable ease in the legs, and a hem that is *just* kissing the ankle bone.  The main focus when designing these pants were to make them easy for toddlers to pull them up and down independently.

This is a digital download purchase and does not include a physical paper pattern. The digital download include instructions, A4/Print At Home, A0/Copyshop, and Projector files.

The Penny Pants are intended to be made with light to midweight woven fabrics.

Kids Penny Pants Fabric Requirements

Fabric consumption is based on 44 inch/110 cm width fabric, so anything with more width may require less, especially if you’re scrappy. Patchwork, using two different fabrics per leg, or cutting perpendicular to the grain (gasp!) are all ways to conserve fabric.

Elastic measurements include 1cm or 3/8 inch of overlap. All bodies are different, so these elastic measurements are not necessarily precise. It is advised to measure your child in order to get the most accurately fitting measurement.
